Meet Jasmine

“You should be able to look at me and see my work. You should be able to look at my work and see me.”

-Roy DeCarava

Jasmine is a Jamaican-American lifestyle photographer based in Washington, DC. She specializes in capturing special moments for people and organizations. She’s versatile in her style as she is able to fluctuate between beauty, style, personal branding and special event projects. As a full time non-profit executive, Jasmine also marries her love for helping others and storytelling by using her keen eye to narrate what really matters in the world of philanthropy.

Jasmine is the founder of Afrotographers, a creative hub for photography enthusiasts throughout the African diaspora and beyond. When Jasmine isn’t creating beautiful images for her clients, she’s sharing her talent and resources with the Afrotographers community and creating pathways to visibility for Black and Brown image makers.

Jasmine’s portrait was captured by M. Dayton.
